Looks like RiRi may have a new home as reports are surfacing that the music icon is leaving adidas to sign a million dollar deal with Puma.
According to reports from the NY Daily News, Rihanna will sign a contract with Puma and she will be designing and wearing clothes and sneakers for the brand. Rihanna was previously signed on with adidas, and had a contract with the Three Stripes forbidding her from wearing any other rival brands. Although the offer isn't signed yet, this could be a huge win for Puma, and a major loss for adidas who was just beginning to grow their brand with other artists including Big Sean, and of course Kanye West.
A source from the NY Daily News said, “She is going to have her own coordinator to go to at Puma who only handles her, and they’ll have a junior coordinator helping them. The focus is shoes, but she will also be helping with pants and tops.”
