Basketball is officially back in Brooklyn, and what better way to unveil the very first edition of the Nets’ uniforms than to have minority owner Jay-Z do it in front of a sold-out crowd Barclays Center on Friday night. Brooklynites were there to see Jay rock the new arena for the first time, but also got a glance at the modest black and white jerseys.

On the road, the Nets will wear the black jerseys seen above, and for home games the team will rock a white version of the classic look. There’s no question the new digs will be flying off shelves all season long. Look out for the Nets and their new identity on NBA TV's 'The Association' in October.

The team will host cross-city rival New York Knicks on November 1st for their season opener.
