French tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga made history in his second round Olympics matchup against Canadian Milos Raonic.

As the fifth seed in the tournament, Tsonga came out on top in what ended up being the longest three-set match in Olympic Tennis history. The match, which lasted just under four hours, was a back-and-fourth battle between the two talented athletes. Despite some unfortunate cues and a rain delay, Tsonga willed himself to victory in his adidas adiZero Feather 2 tennis shoes. While, the slippery grass surface of the courts at Wimbledon has been an issue for many athletes in the opening week of the Olympics, Tsonga’s all-red Feather 2s held up against both the elements and the physical play of the match.
