It was a career night for Jodie Meeks as he led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 114-110 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Meeks finished with 42 points which was the first 40-point game from a guard not named Kobe Bryant in the past 20 years. He also shot 11 of 18 from the field and a perfect 14 for 14 at the line in what was a bright spot in a rather dull year for Los Angeles. Meeks wore his teammate Bryant's Nike Kobe Prelude V shoe during the contest. Kobe's ability to score must've rubbed off on Meeks' performance.
