John Wall has quickly cemented himself at the top of the list of NBA point guards, and he's only entering his fifth season. Over the summer, adidas awarded his stellar play by giving Wall his first of many signature shoes. With the season kicking off tonight, Wall teamed up with Foot Locker in their latest commercial spot to debut the adidas J Wall 1.
Dubbed, "The Process", the spot is a play on the chronicles of landing a signature shoe, starting with making a championship run, marrying “the girl,” settling into a mansion, having your jersey number retired, and finally opening a sports bar. The spot is part of Foot Locker's series of "Approves" commercials for the upcoming season and is set to debut tonight on TNT.
“Getting your name on a shoe and starring in your own TV commercial is something you dream about as a kid,” said Washington Wizards point guard John Wall. “It’s a blessing to be part of this and I hope everyone has as much fun watching this commercial as we had shooting it.”
