The Los Angeles Dodgers had a four-game winning streak heading in to today's home game against Boston, but it was cut short as the Red Sox rallied to a 4-2 win. Boston pitcher Jon Lester played a huge part in the win, allowing just three hits and one run over a 7.1 inning period. On offense, Dustin Pedroia stepped up with two hits and a run on four at bats, while Jonny Gomes hit a homer in the first inning to give Boston an early edge.

"For the most part, I commanded the ball pretty well and was able to move the fastball around and get some weak contact from a good-hitting lineup. I know what I'm capable of. It's just a matter of going out there and doing it. Since the (All-Star) break, I've felt good physically, and I feel like I'm in a good place throwing the ball right now," Lester told the Associated Press post-game. The 12-7 pitcher struck out six batters on the night in his first showing against the Dodgers.

Lester chose the Nike Air Max MVP Elite 3/4 Metal for his big game, a model that is equipped with supportive Flywire overlays, heel Air Max cushioning, and forefoot Zoom Air. Play like a pro today in the Nike Air Max MVP Elite 3/4 Metal for $110.
