Sure, skills have something to do with it, but the chances of getting signed with Jordan Brand definitely skyrocket when you're a member of His Airness' Charlotte Bobcats. Either way you look at it, Charlotte's second overall pick in this summer's NBA draft, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, is officially a part of Team Jordan.
Kidd-Gilchrist joins an elite group of ballers who get the royal Jordan Brand treatment. Like the others, it's likely we'll see a signature shoe for the young forward in near future. With his birthday approaching, hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later. Now that he has the endorsement, only thing left for Kidd-Gilchrist to do is help his team rise up and drop the label of the worst team in the NBA—a tough task, to say the least.
