Super Middleweight Andre Ward defeated light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson over the weekend in Oakland, California, in what was one of the most exciting fights of the year. The 28-year-old Ward, who, remarkably, hasn’t lost a fight since he was 12, is currently one of the better American boxers. So, of course it makes sense that an athlete as dominant Ward gets the Jordan Brand treatment.
In his bout against Dawson, Ward suited up in Jordan apparel from top to bottom. He entered the arena in a customized sleeveless hoodie, along with Jumpman trunks and boxing shoes. We’ll see a lot more of the same going forward as the Jordan Brand has agreed to endorse the boxer for future fights as well.
