It looks like Nike's pulling out all the stops to try and retain Kevin Durant following an crazy offer from Under Armour that is rumored to be in the range of 10-years for $285 million. Although Nike has the right to match the contract offer, they're looking to sway KD in other ways including social media, as the Swoosh just named a shoe after his Twitter handle with the Nike KD Trey 5 II "China".

We first got a glimpse at the KD Trey 5 II back in November, but it has yet to surface on retail shelves, but maybe Nike was holding out as an answer to the recent contract disputes. The shoe looks almost like hybrid between a skate shoe and the Kobe 9 EM, but has some KD design cues including his logo along the tongue tab. The shoe comes in a black base with grey printed design through the upper, and is complimented by a gold Swoosh, teal lining, and a grey outsole. The shoe is being dubbed the "China" colorway due to the unique logo that sits next to KD's mantra on the tongue.

No official release date has surfaced as of yet, but keep it locked for all future information and let us know what you think of the Nike KD Trey 5 II "China" in the comments.
