If there's one thing we've learned about LeBron over the last few months, it's that he truly loves Cleveland. Nike's campaign hammered home the Kings love for Cleveland with the "Together" commercial to kick off the season. We've seen plenty of LeBron 12 PE's so far this season, but the latest look takes us back to his roots.
Once LeBron took his talents to South Beach, the gold and blue colorways for the University of Akron all but disappeared. It looks like those days are back as Nike drops this Akron based PE with a blue Megafuse upper and gold Hyperposite to accent. South Beach fans fear not, as we've already seen a colorway in the teal and pink vibe that's on the way, so Nike hasn't totally killed the colorway. To finish off the Akron PE, Nike went with a icy translucent outsole, which we've seen on most colorways so far.
