Shady McCoy is easily considered one of the top running backs in the NFL right alongside Minnesota Vikings freak of nature, Adrian Peterson. With the NFL season just a few weeks away, Nike's hooked up McCoy with his very own Lunar TR1 PE to get right when the Eagles hit the gridiron week one against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Nike's been rolling out numerous pairs of the Lunar TR1 including the "Week Zero" collection for some of college football's perennial powerhouses, and a "Beast Mode" PE for Seattle Seahawks running back, Marshawn Lynch. Shady's Lunar TR1 PE comes in classic Eagles green, with a silver Swoosh and a volt outsole to give the trainer some added flash. The tribute to McCoy and his Eagles are evident as LeSean’s number 25 is featured on both heels, “McCoy” appears on the tongue-tag, and and the Eagles logo in embossed on the back of each tongue and on the insole.
LeSean McCoy's Lunar TR1 PE's are set to drop on September 13 at select retailers for a suggested retail price of $120. The shoes will be available in limited quantities and will most likely sell out to all those die hard Eagles fan, so act accordingly if your thinking about scooping up a pair for yourself.
