For snowboarders who like to shred the mountain in style—it looks like Christmas will come a little early this year, as Nike has announced the drop of one of the hottest riding boots to hit the market in recent years in the Lunarendor QS.
The state-of-the-art Lunarendor QS is an innovative masterpiece in every sense of the word. It Swoosh branding is integrated with 30 LED’s powered by an embedded lithium ion battery, with an on/off switch located at the top to allow riders to put on a real show at some of the season’s biggest nighttime snowboarding competitions. Featured in a stealthy dark silhouette with Volt accents, the boot is a thing of beauty. However, the impressive features of the Lunarendor QS extend far beyond just aesthetics. The boot is loaded with some of Nike’s top performance tech so riders are dialed in and putting up solid runs.
For starters, Nike has added Lunarlon foam to provide a softer, more responsive ride as it helps protect against impact protection on landings and such. Its 3-D molded upper offers 360-degree support, as well as a layer of durability so riders can focus on the task at hand instead of how their footwear is going to hold up. The boot’s customizable flex system allows riders to choose from three different stiffness options, depending on whether you’re riding on the park, pipe or backcountry. It also features Flywire inner lacing, as well as an external lace look to ensure riders are strapped in and have an enhanced fit. The boot’s upper is reinforced with strobel technology that attracts and stores heat.
Look for the Nike Lunarendor QS to hit retailers in mid-December. It will only be available in limited quantities so strike while you can.
