The four-time world player of the year, Lionel Messi, just agreed to yet another contract extension with FC Barcelona.

Messi and Barca previously inked a deal last February that was due to run up until 2018, but today, the two have reportedly extended their relationship. The deals come off the heels of lengthy negotiations, after Messi reportedly wanted to be the highest paid player in the world. The exact details of the contract have not been disclosed, but claims from the Spanish media are that Barca extended Messi one more year to 2019, and will pay him somewhere in the range of 20m euros a season, with performance-based incentives that could drive the price up further.

During his tenure with Barca, the 26 year-old Messi helped the club win 21 major titles, including six La Liga titles, three Champions Leagues and two Copa Del Reys. Let us know what you think of Messi's new contract, and if Barca overpaid @SneakerReport.
