It’s been a busy summer thus far for Under Armour, who has released a series of performance footwear in recent weeks. Among them, the UA Micro G Pulse running shoe.
Built on UA’s proprietary Micro G platform, the Pulse features responsive cushioning in a lightweight package. It’s designed as an everyday shoe geared towards beginner-to-intermediate level runners.
In terms of design, the Micro G Pulse features a modest, summer-friendly construction, with a lightweight mesh upper for ventilation, as well as synthetic material for stability. Welded organic seams, paired with a molded 4D Foam footbed, give the shoe a comfortable fit for maximum performance. A TPU heel counter adds some stability to the shoe without affecting its 9.6-ounce weight. And while the shoe doesn’t feature UA’s Spine technology, its outsole features a Spine-inspired design for improved flexibility and traction. The Pulse is also versatile enough to double as a training/workout shoe.
