Matt Moore Shuts Out Red Sox in the Nike Air Huarache 2K4 Low

Just one night after a thrilling win over the Yankees in 11 innings, the Boston Red Sox fell to the Tampa Bay Rays 3-0. Pitcher Matt Moore was the driving force behind the Rays’ win as he pitched a shutout, allowing just two hits as he advanced his record to 14-3. Tampa Bay is now just a half-game away from first place in the AL East, which is currently held by Boston.

Last night was Moore’s first start since pitching in the fifth inning of the All-Star Game, and the first complete game of his career. Over the nine inning period, Moore faced 29 batters, threw 109 total pitches (35 of them were strikes), walked just one batter, and struck out four. “I think that’s the most efficient I’ve been. I think that’s probably the best game I’ve ever thrown (considering) the Red Sox are playing well, and we’re on the road,” Moore said after the game.

For his near-perfect night, Matt Moore wore the Nike Air Huarache 2K4 Low. This retro-styled model features design cues from the basketball version of the Zoom Huarache 2K4, which have been revamped for performance on the diamond. The Air Huarache 2K4 Low features a lightweight synthetic build, a TPU heel counter for lockdown, and full-length Nike Air cushioning for impact protection and minimal cleat pressure.
