Minnesota came off a tough loss against Atlanta on Tuesday to face the Connecticut Sun last night. However, the Lynx recovered nicely, outplaying the Sun in their 91-77 victory. Everyone on the Lynx contributed to this latest dominating effort. Seimone Augustus scored 18 points, Maya Moore had 17, Lindsay Whalen added 12 and Janel McCarville 11 for the Lynx. However, the stand out player was Rebekkah Bronson as she played to a season high 24 points and 11 rebounds. “Connecticut definitely got our best effort, which we haven’t been putting forth lately,” Brunson said. “We knew we had to change our mentality with the way we’ve been playing.”
Everyone showed great effort on the Minnesota Lynx basketball team. Their team leader, Maya Moore wore her favorite sneaker at the moment; the Air Jordan Aero Mania. She has pulled out many different colorways of the shoe this season. The combination of a synthetic upper and the strategically placed Flywire helps the shoe have incredible light weight support as well as durability. With the Zoom Air cushioning, the shoe also gives the player good responsiveness for those who are quick on their toes.
With this win, the Minnesota Lynx are now ahead of the Los Angeles Spark for the number one spot in the West. As the season comes to a close, every win is crucial. Stay tuned to Sneaker Report as we bring you more from the WNBA.
