The NBA started off Christmas Day with two of the biggest superstars in the Eastern Conference facing off as John Wall and his Wizards took on Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks. While the game left much to be desired from a competitive standpoint, it did bring the punch with Wall and Melo debuting their special edition holiday kicks from adidas and Jordan Brand, respectively.
John Wall stole the show leading the Wizard with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 11 assists in route to a 102-91 victory. Wall laced up his adidas J Wall 1 from the adidas "Bad Dreams" Collection, done up in a festive green, red and white colorway. Wall and the Wizards may have outshined the Knicks on the scoreboard, but Melo wouldn't go quietly as he dropped in 34 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Anthony debuted the Jordan Brand Melo M11 "Christmas" which drew it's inspiration from Michael Jordan's 42-point performance in the 'Cardinal' Air Jordan 7 on Christmas Day in 1992.
