After recently moving into the world of tennis wear, Boston-based New Balance has signed its first pro tennis player.

Effective immediately, Canada’s Milos Raonic will end his endorsement with Lacoste in lieu of a new sponsorship deal with New Balance. Raonic, who is ranked No. 12 in the world, is considered to be one of the better young players on the pro circuit—something NB is hoping will pay dividends in the near future. It will be interesting to see which other players end up signing with New Balance.
