Players who commit to UNC these days know they're in for some special treatment. Over the last few years, Jordan Brand has paid homage to MJ's alma mater by hooking them up with iconic models with a special Tar Heel touch. With the season underway, we got our first look at what's in store for UNC as they hit the floor in custom Air Jordan 10's.
The Air Jordan 10 “UNC” PE features a white leather upper with classic university blue trimmings throughout. What really sets these a part from basic Jordan releases is the signature UNC argyle pattern on the sneaker’s mudguard and each players number stitched into the ankle where you would normally see either a #23 or #45. Carolina is currently the #6 ranked team in the nation and has started the season off 3-0, so if they keep up their winning ways you can expect Jordan Brand to throw a few more PE's their way before the season ends.
