For quite some time now, Nathan VanHook has been slowly carving his face into the Mount Rushmore of sneaker design by disguising himself from the masses and creating innovative designs. VanHook is responsible for multiple silhouettes but his biggest claim to fame would undoubtedly be the Nike Air Yeezy 2.

Nike just announced that VanHook was named the Athletic Training Footwear Design Director, and is already hard at work. Nike just released it's first ever high-intensity training shoe, the Nike Flyknit Hyperfeel Trainer, that's got VanHook's fingerprint all over it. The new title for VanHook could provide us with some serious upgrades to trainer's as well as other Nike departments including running, basketball and lifestyle.

Check out the interview with VanHook, and let us know what you think of Nike's new hire @SneakerReport.
