Inspired by Paul Revere’s infamous “Midnight Ride” in April 1775, this month, Boston-based New Balance has released a limited edition version of the popular 890v3 neutral running sneaker in a star-studded silhouette.
Unlike the Saucony Kinvara 4 Boston, which is designed to commemorate the Boston Marathon, the NB Boston 890v3 is more of a tribute to Revere’s journey during the American Revolution.
Featuring night-glow detailing, the shoe comes in a predominantly purple colorway inspired by the dark of the night. The lightweight 890v3 is already a proven shoe when it comes to performance, but now it’s definitely a step up in the aesthetics department—perfect for the flashy runner.
