Runners were pissed (to say the least) when Brooks Running initially decided to discontinue the Launch neutral shoe nearly a year ago. But after hearing the overwhelming response from fans, Brooks wisely decided to bring the popular shoe back from the grave for 2013.
Now that the dust has settled, Brooks is taking the Launch yet a step further with a lineup of new and improved colorways next year. In 2014, Brooks will roll out a more vivid Caribbean Sea/Black/Silver colorway of the shoe that is equipped with an impressive array of performance tech (including a flexible outsole, lower-profile midsole, and minimal upper). In addition to the men’s version, Brooks will also release a women’s edition in a similar Caribbean Blue color palette with Silver and Coral accenting.
The new-look Brooks Launch will be available starting January 1, 2014. The shoe’s price is listed at $100.
