The NFL is pulling the Breast Cancer Awareness pink penalty flags in favor for the traditional yellow due to the fact that the players use towels in the same shade of pink.
Due to the confusion caused by stray towels on the field vs dropped flags, the NFL has decided to pull the themed towels for Week 6 thought the rest of the BCA gear will remain. Poor Dante (the fifth-grader that suggested the idea in a letter to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. It's crazy it's taken this long to conclude that this could cause some confusion but what would the NFL be without overall confusion to depend on?
