After fifteen grueling innings, the San Diego Padres were able to close the night with a 3-2 home win over the Chicago Cubs. The game went scoreless until the 13th inning when both the Padres and Cubs got on the scoreboard with two runs a piece. Getting down to the numbers, the 15-inning game lasted a total of 5 hours and 13 minutes. Surprisingly, this wasn't the longest game of the weekend; on Saturday night, Arizona Diamondbacks took Philadelphia to 18 winnings before closing with a 12-7 win.
