Once Kevin Durant entered the league, everyone knew it was only a matter of time before he brought home his first MVP award. In his seventh season, Durant led the NBA averaging 32.0 points per game, as well as leading his Oklahoma City Thunder to a 59-23 record despite losing Russell Westbrook for an extended amount of time due a knee injury. In honor of what seemingly will be KD's first of many MVP awards, Nike is honoring their superstar not only for his achievement on court, but his humility off it.

Nike is celebrating KD by debuting a special edition MVP t-shirt. The all black shirt features MVP across the chest in gold, with a reflective lightning bolt and the KD logo appearing on the sleeve. Nike also announced a special edition KD VI NIKEiD shoe which will be revealed very soon.
