If you thought the rest of the Nike Kobe Prelude Pack up to this point was impressive, wait until you get a load of the Kobe Prelude VII.

Making its initial debut in 2011, the Kobe VII System revolutionized the basketball footwear industry by giving players the option of customizing performance elements of the shoe like ankle support and midfoot cushioning. More than just performance potential, however, the Kobe VII System tells the story of Kobe’s predator-type instinct on the hardwood. The shoe upper features a fierce pattern that blends the skin of the Leopard, Great White Shark and of course the Black Mamba.

The Kobe Prelude VII features an artistic vibe complete with a homage to Kobe’s gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Along with a vibrant gold heel counter, the shoe features a gold laurel wreath, as well as the number 10 (the same number Kobe work on his Olympic jersey).

Like the rest of the pack, the Kobe Prelude VII will be available in limited quantities at select retailers in North America and China. The shoe goes on sale Saturday, January 18.
