When these shoes first surfaced, many people expected them to be Durant's PE's for the 2014 FIBA World Championships. Following the gruesome Paul George injury, KD withdrew from the team, leaving many of us wondering if we would ever see the "Gold Medal" KD 7's again. Fear not as Nike just dropped off detailed images and an official release date for possibly the best KD 7 colorway yet.

First seen on Durant's Instagram back in September, the shoes come in a navy mesh and metallic gold Hyperposite upper, with crimson accents on the KD logo and Flywire cables. To give the shoes an even more patriotic feel, the Swoosh logo on the forefoot features a pinstriped design and Nike added in a star pattern through the inner lining. In our opinion, these are a must cop regardless of the slight "premium" price increase.

The KD 7 Premium "Gold Medal" drops November 22 at the Nike Store and select retail locations.
