Combining two of Nike’s most iconic performance technologies—Air Max and Flyknit—the much-anticipated Nike Flyknit Air Max is finally available for purchase on a global scale.
To recap the shoe (which we previewed here on SR back in October), it features a lightweight, yet supportive upper constructed using the innovative Flyknit technology—which, for the first time, has been paired with Air Max cushioning to give runners the best of both fit and comfort. Rounding out the Flyknit Air Max is a flexible waffle outsole designed for the tarmac.
With so much tech built into the shoe, Nike has put a pretty hefty price tag (for a running shoe) on the Flyknit Air Max. As of now, the she is only available in a Green/Orange/Black men’s colorway and Orange/Pink/Black women's colorway. Nike is expected to drop two additional color offerings in early 2014.
