April is slated to be a big month in sneaker release, and we’re anticipating the arrival of some top-notch performance sneakers with the turn of the calendar, such as the Nike Free 5.0+ and the Jordan CP3.VI AE. Now, we can add another worthy member to the list, the Nike KD V Elite.

With a re-designed low-top silhouette leading the way, the KD V Elite should provide ballers with a more versatile shoe to hit the court in, when it hits retailers on April 27.  Featuring a carbon fiber heel counter and shank for lightweight stability, the KD V Elite will initially be available in a Blue/Volt Green “Superhero” colorway, as part of the Nike Basketball Elite Series 2.0.

The shoe features Dynamic Flywire reinforced with Kevlar for a reliable, lock-down fit, along with an articulated foam tongue for impact resistance and minimizing lace pressure. The sleek upper is housed on a Nike Zoom unit for prime cushioning.
