During last summer’s 2012 London Olympics, the Spanish national basketball team rocked Li-Ning branded uniforms on their way to a Silver medal performance. However, those days are long gone. As a result of an endorsement deal signed with Nike in the months following the London Games, Spain will suit up in Swoosh-branded uniforms when it hits the court in September (women’s in June).

Featuring a Nike Pro Combat baselayer, the high performance uniforms are designed to cater to Spain’s climate, as well as the Spanish culture. The kits are made from recycled plastic, with Dri-Fit technology integrated into them for temperature regulation and moisture control.

The uniforms feature Nike Aerographics, an engineered fabric that offers seamless comfort, without adding weight—which means Spain will play in the lightest basketball uniforms ever designed by Nike.
