Nike has stepped up its commitment to soccer (we know, football to everyone else in the world) by extending their partnership with Football Federation Australia (FFA) for another 11 years.

Each national team will continue to recieve their team kit with the latest innovations of performance technology. This new deal will also help to ensure the future of the Australian Socceroos jersey as the number one national team kit in the country. Nike isn't just helping out the big teams though, they also started grassroots initiativesand Youth Teams.

"Nike is focused on ensuring the ongoing success of Australian Football,” says Paul Faulkner, General Manager, Nike Pacific.

This renewal is the most, both in years and financial means that has existed between an apparel company and an Australian National team. Not only does this mean some sweet new gear for players on the pitch in Australia, but this 20-year long relationship shows how much Nike believes in the sport's future there.

“Today’s announcement of an 11-year sponsorship extension represents an overwhelming vote of confidence in Australian football and it’s incredibly exciting future,” said FFA CEO Ben Buckley.
