Nike Home Run Derby Collection

As the MLB All-Star festivities kick off tonight with the Home Run Derby, Nike has made sure that their players will step out in cleats that are both stylish and high-performing. They've prepared two collections for the Midsummer Classic: the "Red Apple" and "Bright Lights, Big City" packages. Inspired by the excitement and energy of Manhattan and NYC's ballparks, these eye-catching models are done up in a variety of colors.

The "Red Apple" collection will debut tonight in the Home Run Derby. Featured in the group are the Air Huarache Pro Metal Low, Air Huarache Pro Metal Mid, and the Air Swingman 2 Metal, as well as a training option in the Free Trainer 5.0. With the addition of these eye-catching red models, Nike hopes to add a little fun to the All-Star break, allowing players to forgo their traditional black spikes. The entire "Red Apple" set is available now from Nike.

Meanwhile, for the All-Star game itself, Nike has prepared the "Bright Lights, Big City" package. Unfortunately for Griffey and trainer fans, only the Air Huarache Pro Metal Low and Air Huarache Pro Metal Mid will be available in this group. These models are constructed with mesh and synthetic uppers and feature Nike Air cushioning for comfort on the diamond.
