The popularity of Nike's Flyknit line can't be understated, especially within the running community. By most standards, the Flyknit Lunar2 fell short of expectations but that doesn't diminish the overall success of the series. For next year, Nike is looking bounce back the line with the Flyknit Lunar3, and today we get our first preview.
The Flyknit Lunar3 goes back towards the original model by having a simple Flyknit woven upper and places it over a Lunarlon outsole. The Flyknit Lunar2 featured a two-piece upper that was designed to be supportive, but for whatever reason it didn't materialize that way. Although these are the first images, and there's still great chances for change, the Flyknit Lunar3 looks to be taking the minimalist approach one again, offering runners a extremely lightweight ride that is supported by the responsive cushioning. Only two colorways have surfaced so far, one coming in black and blue look with blue speckled outsole, and the other a basic black and white model that goes with everything.
