Nike’s unique relationship with the University of Oregon Ducks has been universally well documented. But now the Swoosh has finally decided to shoe some love to the other team in its home state, the Oregon State Beavers, as well.

While Nike has been the on-going sponsor of Oregon State athletics, last night the brand announced a renewed partnership meant to overhaul the Beaver Athletics identity. At the center of this Nike-OSU partnership is a new, more modern Beaver logo honoring the school’s tradition, while giving it a fresh look (similar to what Nike did for the Missouri Tigers last year).

All 17 of OSU’s intercollegiate sports teams will receiver upgraded uniforms featuring the new branding and color palette. Oregon State's vivid Orange/Black color scheme is somewhat reminiscent of the other OSU in college football, Oklahoma State.

Nonetheless, this should help the Beavers gain some style points against the cross-state Ducks. But of course at the end of the day, all that matters is winning on the field. Looking good while doing it is just a bonus.
