After the incredibly successful Nike Zoom KD 4, it's safe to say that expectations are at an all-time high for Kevin Durant's next signature sneaker. Fans won't have to wait much longer, as the KD 5 is set to release on Saturday, December 8.
Designed by Leo Chang, the fifth Durant sig features a Hyperfuse upper and a stretch lacing system which ensures a lockdown fit. Although the lockdown strap on the KD4 was one of its most popular features, it appears the strap has been removed in favor of a new lace setup.
Pictured are a handful of colorways you can expect to see in stores next spring. Notable versions include the black "Away" OKC colorway, as well as a Green/Red variation which reminds us of the LeBron X "Cutting Jade".
The Nike Zoom KD 5 will retail for $110. Stick with Sneaker Report for more info on the upcoming release.
