Every now and then, a sneaker comes along that changes the game forever. The Nike Air Max 360 Basketball shoe fits that bill.

While the game of basketball was getting faster, Nike made it a point to still cater to the big guys on the court. In 2006, the Swoosh unveiled the Air Max 360 Basketball sneakers with a focus on maximum comfort and support that would hold up for the bulkier players in the game. The shoe featured a full-length Nike Air Sole in place of a conventional foam sole being used in most footwear up until that point in time. While the Air Sole was originally designed for use in running shoes, the excellent suspension and support the air pocket provided was certainly fitting for a basketball shoe as well.
