To kick off 2014, Under Armour made a major announcement as they joined forces with one of the most storied schools in the nation, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Throughout the college football season we saw the Irish break out some special uniforms and cleats courtesy of UA, but now we move to the hardwood.
Notre Dame will hit the floor tomorrow night laced up in these Under Armour ClutchFit Drive "Fighting Irish" PE's. The shoes come in the traditional Notre Dame colors with green, navy blue and gold making up most of the upper and finished off with a white outsole. There's no official Notre Dame branding that we can see, but it's clear these are for the Irish, especially with the gold laces, and midsole. The Irish are currently sitting with a 6-1 record, and these certainly fit into the "look good, play good" category.
