We're a little over a quarter ways through the 2013-14 NBA season, and at 23-5, the Portland Trail Blazers have quieted any naysayers who wrote their sizzling hot start off as a fluke. Portland's here to stay, and they're currently tied with the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder for the number one spot in the league. Tonight, they'll have their hands full as they host the 20-9 Los Angeles Clippers. With two of the west's top teams facing off and names like Damian Lillard, LaMarcus Aldridge, Chris Paul, and Blake Griffin on the hardwood, this match up is one you won't want to miss.

Last year, on December 26, 2012, the Trail Blazers hosted the Sacramento Kings for some post-Christmas action. Portland had started the season with a 14-13 record and Damian Lillard was still a rookie, but the Trail Blazers dominated with a 109-91 win.

LaMarcus Aldridge took care of the bulk of the offense for Portland with 28 points and 12 rebounds, but they couldn't have gotten it done without a stellar night from Damian Lillard as well. Lillard had 17 points, 11 asists, and 8 rebounds, coming close to a triple-double in just his third month of professional action. Later in the season, numbers like this helped Damian Lillard earn the year's NBA Rookie of the Year honors.

During this show-stealing performance, Damian Lillard wore the adidas Rose 773. This popular Derrick Rose-inspired model featured a SprintFrame chassis and SprintWeb upper, and has recently been upgraded in the form of the adidas Rose 773 2. Pick up the sequel today for $66.
