When NBA fans think of Hall of Famer John Stockton, the first thing that comes to mind is probably his knack for piling up huge assists numbers and his connection with teammate Karl Malone. After playing professionally for 19 seasons, John Stockton is considered to be one of the best point guards to ever play the game. He's the league's all-time leader in both assists and steals and was selected for the NBA All-Star Game on ten occasions. There's also another prolific record held by John Stockton that may have been overlooked by casual fans.

On October 30, 2001, the Utah Jazz hosted the Milwaukee Bucks as the NBA celebrated Opening Night. For John Stockton, this marked his 18th consecutive season with the Utah Jazz, which set a new record for the longest tenure with a single organization. Previously, John Stockton had been tied with legend Hakeem Olajuwon, but this game put him into a league of his own. Stockton retired before the 2003-04 NBA season, which put him at 19 total consecutive seasons with the Jazz. He's still in the number one position on the all-time rankings, with Reggie Miller and Kobe Bryant trailing closely behind.

During the beginning of the 2001-02 season, John Stockton wore the Nike Air Props Uptempo, a model that has become increasingly obscure over the years. However, if you're looking to pick them up for nostalgia purposes, a youth sized pair is available on eBay.
