It's been a difficult week for the NFL to say the least. Issues circling around domestic abuse, child abuse, and the leagues drug program have caused a real black eye for the start of the NFL season. Players like Josh Gordon, Ray Rice, and Adrian Peterson are under harsh scrutiny, and have even led to some of them being cut from their team, or dropped by major sponsors such as Nike. While most players tip-toe around these policies, Sports Illustrated's Peter King recently sat down with Peyton Manning and the Bronco's quarterback had some interesting comments when it came to the legalization of marijuana....well kind of.

Manning recently purchased 21 Papa John franchises throughout Colorado, and is seeing the benefits of legalized marijuana in the Mile High State. While he didn't directly comment on the laws, Peyton made it rather clear that he's seeing the financial benefits of his investment, and the laws may be a direct correlation.

When asked about his awareness of the situation, Peyton said, "There’s some different laws out here in Colorado. Pizza business is pretty good out here, believe it or not, due to some recent law changes."

While he didn't flat out say what the law changes were, think we can all assume what he was referencing.
