Coming off last month’s World Cup qualifying victories against Montenegro and Poland respectively, England’s men’s national soccer team likes its chances of making major headlines in Brazil next summer. But there’s still plenty of work to be done for the young squad. Fortunately, with over 200 caps between seasoned stars like Wayne Rooney, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Ashley Cole, there’s plenty of experience on the English side to make a solid run during the sport’s biggest stage.

“As a footballer, you play to win trophies and be successful," said Wayne Rooney. "If you look at all the great players, they all have special moments of their own. As a center forward, you’ve always got that opportunity to create your own history, which is also obviously your country’s history.”

In this final episode of Nike’s “England Matters” video series, Rooney and Co. offer some insight into life as international soccer players. Check it out to see what England’s top players have to say about their chances going into the 2014 World Cup.
