After much anticipation and wait, adidas' Primeknit technology is coming stateside. If that news alone isn't enough to get you excited, adidas is taking it a step further by pairing this revolutionary technology with the Three Stripes go to Boost cushioning system, to make the Prime Boost.

Primeknit was designed to rival Nike's Flyknit, and is constructed in a similar way as the upper is made from digital knitting technology. Getting the proper fit in your running shoes in a top priority, and Primeknit makes this process easier then ever as it fits to the contours of your foot for a precision fit that keeps your foot locked in place. Supported by the ever popular Boost technology, the Prime Boost offers the necessary level of cushioning and energy return mile after mile. You can bet the Prime Boost will be a go to runner for anyone serious about their performance as it features an environmentally friendly sole that uses the same design as the adizero Adios Boost, which has been worn by winners of 17 major marathons. Since this is the first Primeknit sneaker to hit shelves in the US, adidas kept it simple outfitting this Prime Boost in a classic Black/White/Solar Red colorway.

The adidas Prime Boost will be available online and at adidas Sport Performance stores beginning July 13.
