Recently, a lot of international brands are always looking for American athletes to represent them. One of those brands is Anta. Anta is a sporting good supplier who makes gear for all different types of sports – from running to cross training. They are now venturing into basketball and acquired the Brooklyn Nets’ new center in Kevin Garnett- who recently signed on with the brand for another five years. But he isn't the only player.

Anta posted a teaser of their new lineup of players recently. In the first image it was Kevin Garnett. The image alsoshowed shadowed-out players that are also part of the line. The other images look as if the players that are coming to the brand are secret characters for a video game, waiting to be unlocked – smooth move Anta. From further looking at the images, it is easy to see that it’s Rajon Rondo has been added to the bunch. With his Nike contract up this year, is he going to move into this new brand?

Throughout the season, Rajon Rondo can be seen rocking the latest Foamposites, Hyperdunk PE, and all sorts of other Nike sneakers. According to sources, Anta has been offering double the amount to players such as Blake Griffin, James Harden and Stephen Curry. But it looks look Rondo is open to move and build this overseas brand.

It’s likely that his former teammate in Garnett helped Anta put this deal on Rondos lap. Rondo is a popular player. This will definitely build great brand awareness and step us out of the norm of the Adidas, Nike and Jordans that we are used to.
