Peyton Manning Makes History in the Nike Zoom Code Elite

Key stats: 4 TD, 22/26 passing, 318 yards
Cop the cleats: $85

One of the biggest sneaker stories of the NFL off-season was Peyton Manning jumping ship from Reebok to Nike. For awhile there, it seemed like Peyton had found a favorite, and he stuck with the Reebok Zig Blaze SD4 for quite some time. Now, as a Swoosh athlete, he's chosen yet another hard-to-find model, the Zoom Code Elite from 2013. Although this model is no longer available directly from Nike, they can be found at retailers like Eastbay.

As far as Peyton's night, you already know. At this rate, he's pretty much sewed up any "greatest QB" discussions, he just needs a couple more rings.

Colin Kaepernick Gets Roughed Up in the Nike Vapor Carbon Elite 2014 "Breast Cancer Awareness"

Key stats: 1 TD, 24/39 passing, 263 yards
Cop the cleats: $113

Colin Kaepernick's inconsistencies continue to plague the 49ers, who had no answer for Denver's stiff defense last night. Kaepernick looked ready to go early on, but struggled to find his groove and ended up finishing with some of his worst numbers of the season. Of course, San Fransisco's blockers are partially to blame, as they allowed six sacks on the young QB. In the end, Kaepernick finished with just one TD, a 4-yard connection with Stevie Johnson with 11 seconds remaining in the second quarter.

Emmanuel Sanders Gets the Broncos on the Board Early in the Nike Alpha Pro

On Denver's first drive of the night, Manning connected with Emmanuel Sanders for a 3-yard TD, which a first for Sanders this season and as a member of the Broncos. He was relatively quiet the rest of the game, and he's put up far bigger numbers in other games this season, but it was nice to see him catch his first touchdown in orange and blue.
