The Washington Redskins quarterback, Robert Griffin III got hit with another $10,000 fine. The first time, he received a fine for wearing adidas apparel when Nike has the rights to the NFL. This time is a little different and shocking. During his pregame warm up on Monday, RG3 wore a shirt that displayed “Operation Patience” in the front. According to the NFL this was unauthorized apparel and deemed a fine. Although Griffin was dressed in full uniform during the game, the NFL requires players to follow the uniform rules before the game as well.

Griffin has had a long road to recovery after his injury. He has been looking to get back on the field as quickly as possible however; his coach (Mike Shanahan) and his doctor have a different plan for him. So a man who usually is impatient has to force himself to be patient as the season begins to roll in. Unfortunately, his practice for patience set him back 10 grand.

RG3 is working his way back on to the field. On Wednesday he practiced against the starting defense in a full practice to get his back into routine. He looks to get back on the field in time for Philly. Keep it locked on Sneaker Report as we bring you more from the NFL.
