Over the last couple of years, Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook has established himself as one of the premiere point guards in the NBA. Westbrook’s relentless and timely style of play on the hardwood has attracted the attention of basketball fans from all over, and it seems like adidas can now be added to that list as well.
While nothing has been confirmed by adidas Basketball just yet, initial rumors have begun circulating of Westbrook leaving Nike for adidas (thanks to an instagram post from adidas Philippines, which happens to be a confirmed adidas account). It the gossip turns out to be legit, this will be a huge score for The 3-Stripes. Westbrook will join fellow superstars Derrick Rose and Dwight Howard as the face of adidas basketball.
