Like many sports these days, biking is evolving with the times. Companies are utilizing the latest tech features at their disposal into bike designs to offer riders with smarter, more advanced, and most importantly, a safer ride. Today, we get a look at the Samsung Smart Bike, which was debuted at the 2014 Milan Design Week.

Designed by the world-renowned Italian frame-builder Giovanni Pelizzoli and his student Alice Biotti, their invention becomes the latest to join the ranks of the "Smart Bike" phenomeon. The Samsung Smart Bike features a handlebar magnet that securly locks you phone in place, offering riders easier navigation, as well as streaming live video from the rearview camera located between the seat stays to ensure further safety. The shape of the bike features a curved aluminum frame that was designed to minimize vibrations from riding on rought city streets, and has four built-in lasers to project a moving bike lane onto the road for a safer ride and experience.

This all sounds good in theory, but unfortunatley there's no word on if the Samsung Smart Bike will ever be available to the public. We're optimistic this will come to fruition eventually, but even if it doesn't, it's good to know that companies are constantly looking to evolve biking and provide riders with the most up to date and safest features.
