A while back, we previewed the next installment of the Saucony Endorphin LD series—one of the lightest track spikes currently on the market. Today, we take a closer look at what the spikes will look like in terms of design.

Sneaker Report got a chance to sit down with Saucony at the 2013 Summer Outdoor Retailer Market in Salt Lake City to get some insight into the brands upcoming running collection—which includes the Endorphin LD4 we’ve gathered here to talk about today.

Given the shoe’s success, the latest version isn’t a complete redesign, though it has been slimmed down even more (believe it or not), and currently tips the scale at a featherweight 2.8 ounces. The LD4 still features the same FlexFilm upper on the previous models, though it has been reformatted for an enhanced fit.

We’re still waiting on an official release date for the spikes, but expect them to start hitting specialty running stores sometime this fall.
