If you've been counting down the days until the tip off of the NCAA men's basketball season, there's good news—your wait is over. Although it will be a few weeks before there's any major match-ups, it's a comforting feeling to know that college hoops have returned. In last night's action, No. 1 Kentucky stomped out UNC-Ashville 89-57 on the back of 23 points and 15 rebounds from Julius Randle (pictured.) Elsewhere, No. 2 Michigan State put a 98-56 hurting on McNeese State, No. 4 Duke blew out Davidson 111-77,  and No. 5 Kansas dropped UL Monroe 80-63.

On the pro hardwood, Kevin Durant was in top form, leading the night in scoring with 37 points in his latest Nike signature model. Minnesota's Kevin Love also had another phenomenal game, dropping 32 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists on Dallas. In New Orleans, center Anthony Davis continued to impress with 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 blocks.

Wrapping up a busy night of sports, Rafael Nadal advanced to the semifinals of the ATP World Tour Finals with a win over Tomas Berdych. Nadal will meet the winner of tomorrow's match between Juan Martin del Potro and Roger Federer in the semis.

Read on to find out what these players and the rest of the night's top performers wore in The Shoes That Won Last Night.
