if you thought Friday night’s basketball action was exciting, you won’t want to miss this round up of Saturday’s best. While one of the evening’s biggest stories was Jameis Winston winning the 2013 Heisman Trophy, pro hoops were in full effect with stars like Chris Paul (pictured), LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and LaMarcus Aldridge having huge nights for their respective teams. And on the college hardwood, several of the nation’s top teams picked up wins, with the biggest being No. 18 North Carolina over No. 11 Kentucky.

In Washington, the Wizards losing streak continued as the Los Angeles Clippers handed them a 97-113 loss. Chris Paul was without a doubt the night’s MVP, shooting 11-14 and 5-7 on three pointers for 38 points and 12 assists. Meanwhile, LeBron James came close to dropping a triple-double on his former team as the Heat cruised to a 114-107 win over Cleveland. James ended up sticking with the Nike LeBron XI for the entire game, so it looks like the team over at Nike have worked out the fit issues in the King’s latest signature model for the time being.

No. 1 Arizona, No. 3 Ohio State, No. 4 Wisconsin, and No. 5 Michigan State were also victorious, with Arizona, Ohio State, and Wisconsin all remaining undefeated thus far in the season.
